Blackbeltworkouts.com (Black Belt Workouts, LLC) was founded with the purpose to consult, train, and coach MMA fighters, martial artists and anyone who wants to get and stay in elite shape. We help our clients implement extreme strength and conditioning programs, to prepare them for competitive MMA fighting and/or other sports or goals that require top functional strength and endurance or as we like to call it, to become an unstoppable force!.
Our philosophy is to consider any type of workout/method, continue what is beneficial, and discard what does not apply to our belief in functional and sustained strength over-time. We also provide workout opinions, articles and act as a one-stop resource/exchange of ideas regarding “extreme” and “old school” workout methods.

John Righeimer is the creator of Black Belt Workouts and is certified by The Pit (www.thepit.tv.com) in Combative Physical Training (CPT). John holds a black belt in Combat Karate (under Master’s Piotr Szustkowski & Marvin Steele), and Bushido Karate (Universal System, under Master Winston Matthews). John is also a graduate of SEAL Fit’s Kokoro Camp (Class 17). Kokoro Camp is an intense crucible experience based off the famous Navy SEAL Hell Week. Kokoro Camp forges a “Warrior Spirit” and is widely regarded as the toughest training endeavor outside of BUD/s.
